Air Arabia is looking for dynamic target driven individual to join its Commercial team. The selected individual will be responsible for representing the interests of Air Arabia in Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina while working on increasing the Company’s market share and developing new opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

You will be responsible for leading the drive for sales of Air Arabia within the assigned territory in Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina ensuring maximum brand visibility. You will be responsible for increasing the distribution channels (Travel agencies and Corporates) by developing and maintaining strong relationships with tourism departments, travel agencies and Corporates in strict compliance of all Air Arabia activities with their policies and regulations.

You will also be solely responsible for inspiring and motivating General Sales Agents and others engaged in sales activities in the assigned territory in Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina to achieve outstanding sales performance and initiates and drives sales campaigns for Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina. This includes regular analysis of sales performance, providing feedback to the Area Manager and identifying areas for concern while taking appropriate corrective measures to address concerns as well as handling contracts with Tour Operators and reviewing the same periodically.

You will be responsible for reviewing sales performance on a weekly basis with the sales team / GSA to monitor performance and assess market trends and take action as required, providing feedback to the Area Manager while identifying areas for concern and recommending remedial action.

You will also identify new opportunities for sales, new markets and agents in Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina. In particular, identifying the unique needs of Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina which may be met by Air Arabia products and services and produces recommendations based on cost / benefit analysis.

In this position, you will be expected to lead your team by example displaying exemplary levels of initiative and commitment to achieve. You will be expected to work with a proactive approach and take appropriate decisions based on proper analysis of situations bearing in mind the company’s interests and cost.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s degree level.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Airline Sales management experience with at least 1 year in a managerial position within an airline environment in Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
  • Previous experience in dealing with Government Affairs / Airport Authorities would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintains training records, including materials, tests used and results and records of license renewal dates to ensure that necessary training is provided in sufficient time to allow for recertification before expiry.
  • Writes and update CSPM, checks and approves the issue of safety bulletins, ensuring that Cabin Crew are made aware of the contents.
  • Carries out cabin crew competency checks.
  • Responsible for the editing, publishing and distributing recurrent training.
  • Preparing, processing all necessary documents required for initial cabin crew licenses and additional aircraft ratings, in accordance to ECAA requirements and Correspond with ECAA for any safety related issue.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Diploma or equivalent education. Minimum five years of experience as a cabin crew member with three years as a senior cabin crew. Training in first aid is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage.
  • Appropriate aircraft type certificates are also essential. A good technical knowledge of aircraft.

  • Minimum of 6 years in aviation maintenance out of which 2 years as A320 certifying engineer without any limitation/ restrictions (having CRS).

About the job
Based in Sialkot, Pakistan, the purpose of this role is to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on ABY and 3rd party aircraft without violating safety and quality standards in a cost-effective manner.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carries out maintenance on ABY and 3rd party aircraft during Transit checks in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA standards.
  • Ensure station maintained to GCAA standard.
  • Monitor Engineering stores and ensure correct stock levels and shelf life of spares.
  • Monitor calibration dates of calibrated tooling.
  • Utilize the Station technicians effectively and professionally without violating safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain/ monitor approvals of all Engineers/ technicians on station.
  • Be Flexible and ensure Operation is protected at all times.
  • Advise Outstation Maintenance Manager of equipment or tooling shortfalls that could potentially affect the smooth operation of the station.
  • Carries out technical and administrative tasks as directed by Manager Outstation.
  • To maintain communication between Engineer and MCC in the event of an AOG situation.
  • Willing to work under harsh condition and shift work.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holder of a valid UAE GCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or ICAO state member licensed type with recent experience of six (6) months within last 2 years and with A320/CFM-56-5 type rating endorsed.
  • Minimum of 5 years in aviation maintenance out of which at least 1 year as A320 certifying Engineer, holding current certificate to release to service.
  • Very good knowledge of AMM/IPC/TSM/Air NAV. Good English and computer skills.
