About Your Job: In this role, you will provide leadership on a strategic and commercial level for all channels and staff within EGY Direct Sales and Services Organisation, motivating the reporting team to achieve department revenue and operational targets. You will develop and deliver on agreed strategic direction for Direct channel including achievement of overall direct channel shift to qr.com; and ongoing rationalisation and improvements to existing processes and functions.  You will also manage and motivate the team to ensure delivery of excellence across all key performance indicators and create creative strategies to address issues affecting performance.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Leading, managing and motivating the team Direct Sales and Services organisation, taking overall responsibility for delivery of performance against all revenue and operational targets across Egypt’s key areas
  • Designing, developing and implementing KPIs, customer service standards and operational procedures that enable delivery of quality product and services across all areas; ensuring that every area and team member has a clear set of goals and accountabilities directly aligned to these business priorities
  • Taking strategic lead on all key projects within the Direct Sales & Service area, driving productivity and organisational improvements to achieve cost of sale reduction and improvement in day to day operation
  • Acting as a senior liaison partner for Egypt team to ensure standardization of procedures, regular information exchange and delivery of KPIs for agreed Egypt consumer and trade services
  • Driving prompt dissemination of all key messages, policy and procedure updates and information to Egypt management and Direct Sales team, ensuring that all team members are kept abreast of latest changes
About You: To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree, or similar, combined with at least five years of experience in a similar role.  You will need extensive people management skills, frontline sales exposure in a direct and field capacity and must have an understanding of key direct/e-commerce channels.

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) to perform this role.
